What is nupure probaflor® junior?

Nupure probaflor® junior is a probiotic preparation for children aged 3 years and older.

By definition, probiotics contain viable microorganisms that have a health-promoting effect on the host organism. Due to the additional prebiotic dietary fibre Nutriose®, nupure probaflor junior is a so-called synbiotic.

Nupure probaflor® junior contains 6 strains of lactic acid bacteria. At the end of the shelf life it is still guaranteed to contain 2 x 10^9 live cultures per 1.5 g powder.

Key Features / What makes probaflor® junior special?

  • finely balanced ratio of bacterial strains
  • perfectly adapted to the child's intestinal flora
  • Ideal after taking antibiotics
  • Easy to take with a gentle vanilla taste

Prebiotic Nutriose®

In addition to the bacterial strains nupure probaflor® junior contains Nutriose®. Nutriose® is a resistant corn dextrin. Dextrins consist of short glucose chains. These polysaccharides cannot be metabolized by humans and enter the intestine undigested. There they serve as nutrients for the resident microbiome.

Nutriose® has been well researched in human studies and shows a high degree of tolerance. As it does not contain fructose, it can also be used safely by patients with fructose intolerance.

Bifidobacterium infantis LA 13060
  • One of the first colonizers of the intestinal tract in infants
  • Unique in its ability to digest multiple sugars from breast milk
  • Can lower the pH value of the intestine and thus inhibit pathogens
  • Strong adhesion to the intestinal mucosa
  • Anti-inflammatory
  • Produces short-chain fatty acids, which serve as energy source for the intestinal cells
Bifidobacterium lactis LA 13070
  • High acid tolerance and resistance to bile
  • Strong adhesion to the intestinal mucosa
  • Inhibition of pathogens
  • Support of the barrier function of the intestinal mucosa
  • Effect on the immune system
Bifidobacterium longum LA 13080
  • Not significantly present in adults
  • Belongs to the earliest colonizers of the human intestinal tract
  • Good acid and bile tolerance
  • Strong adhesion to the intestinal mucosa
Lactobacillus acidophilus LA 13100
  • Common colonizer of the human digestive tract
  • Safe use in human consumption for decades
  • High acid and bile tolerance
  • Produces the enzyme phytase and supports the availability of minerals from plant foods
Lactobacillus reuteri LA 13210
  • Can be isolated from human breast milk
  • Natural inhabitant of the human digestive tract
  • Produces reuterin, a natural broad-spectrum antibiotic that inhibits the growth of pathogens
Lactobacillus helveticus LA 13170
  • Is used in cheese production
  • Good adhesion to the intestinal mucosa

Important information

Nupure probaflor® junior is suitable for children from three years and older.

The indicated recommended daily dosage must not be exceeded.

Food supplements are not a substitute for a balanced and varied diet and a healthy lifestyle. The support and maintenance of a healthy intestinal flora depends to a large extent on a varied and vital substance-rich diet.

Do not take during pregnancy and lactation. The product should always be stored out of reach of children.

Nupure probaflor junior® should be stored in a cool place, but above all as dry as possible. The lid should be closed tightly after each use to prevent moisture from penetrating.

Package size

Nupure probaflor junior® contains 50 g powder and lasts for about one month with daily use.

Conditions of use

The right dosage for every child.

Nupure probaflor® junior is suitable from three years on. Ideally nupure probaflor® junior should be dissolved in lukewarm water and taken before a meal. This reduces the stomach passage to a minimum and protects the cultures from gastric acid.

If your child does not accept the intake with water, nupure probaflor® junior can also be dissolved in all other cold drinks and meals, such as yoghurt or muesli. Because of its light, natural vanilla taste, it is gladly taken by all children.

Of course nupure probaflor® junior can also be taken by adults. Due to its special and mild formula, it is particularly suitable for people who have problems taking other probiotics.

Slowly increase the dose

For the first application, start with half a measuring spoon per day. Within two weeks the dose can be gradually increased to one measuring spoon. This helps the intestine to adjust to the administration.

In very sensitive people, dietary fibres can cause flatulence. In this case, simply reduce the dose until your child feels comfortable. Over time, the intestine usually gets used to the higher amount of fibre and the amount can be increased again.

If children frequently suffer from diarrhoea or constipation or complain about stomach aches, this may be an indication of a disrupted intestinal microbiome. But even without frequent discomfort, a probiotic can be taken to support healthy digestion and strengthen the immune system. Especially children who are exposed to frequent germs in kindergarten or school benefit from a strong intestinal flora.
Taking antibiotics often leads to a partial or even complete destruction of the own intestinal microbiome. However, other factors such as stress, poor nutrition or infections can also disrupt the intestinal microbiome and promote colonisation by unwanted microorganisms.
If the immune system is weak or the balance of the bacteria is disrupted in other ways, such as by poor nutrition, excessive growth of species such as the yeast fungus Candida can lead to health problems. Inhabitants of the intestines, which are harmless under normal circumstances, can then trigger inflammatory reactions or produce unpleasant gases, leading to a variety of digestive problems. In addition, the immune system can also be further weakened.
A probiotic supports digestion by restoring and maintaining the natural intestinal microbiome. Problems such as flatulence, diarrhoea or constipation can be alleviated and the immune system can be strengthened. This often results in a significantly improved quality of life.

The supply of important nutrients, such as vitamins and trace elements, can also be improved by taking a probiotic, as a disturbed intestinal microbiome can considerably impair absorption from food.
Prebiotics are dietary fibres that have a positive effect on the intestinal microbiome. They are not digested by humans, but serve as a nutrient for some important bacteria that are essential for intestinal health. The Nutriose® used in nupure probaflor® junior thus promotes the growth of the desired intestinal bacteria.
